Brand Kits
A Brand Kit holds your brand's colours, logos and fonts, so you upload them once and use them in every template.
Make a Brand Kit
- Open Brand Kits in the menu on the left.
- Type a name for the kit, such as your company's or a client's, and click Create.
- Under Colors, click New color, pick the colour and give it a name. Click Save colors when you are done.
- Under Assets, click Upload and choose your logo, other images, or font files.
Images can be PNG, JPG, SVG or WebP. Fonts can be TTF, OTF, WOFF or WOFF2. You can make more than one kit, for example one per client.
Use your colours
Automette's AI knows the colours in your Brand Kits. When you create or edit a template with AI, ask it to "use our brand colours" and it will.
When you design by hand, copy the colour's code from the kit into the editor's colour picker.
Use your logo
Ask the AI to "add our logo" and it will place it for you.
In a Typst template you can also refer to it by its file name, for example #image("logo.png", width: 80pt). It does not need to be added to the template's own assets.
Use your fonts
A font you upload becomes available to all your templates, next to the built-in fonts:
- Visual editor: it appears in the font list.
- Typst: use its family name, for example
#set text(font: "Acme Sans").
The family name is read from the font file when you upload it and shown in the kit. If no name can be read, the kit tells you, and the font cannot be used; upload a .ttf or .otf file instead.
