A credit is consumed only when a new file is generated: one credit per output, whether it's a PDF, PNG, JPG, or WebP. The rate is the same no matter how you trigger the render: dashboard, REST API, CSV bulk, or a form submission that generates a document.

Previews are always free. Accessing, downloading, or sharing a generated file later costs nothing. Credits are spent on generation, never on retrieval. A fair use policy applies to unusually large or resource-heavy documents.

No. Collecting responses is free on every plan, and paid plans have no response limits at all. A credit is only used when a submission generates a document, for example a certificate or a receipt created from a template attached to your form.

Generation pauses and we prompt you to upgrade. We never silently bill you for overages. If your volume is regularly above Pro, talk to us about a custom plan.

Storage covers the files you upload: template assets, brand kit files, and files submitted through your forms. Generated documents and images never count against storage, no matter how many you create.

On paid plans, files generated from the dashboard are stored forever. Files generated through the API or bulk CSV are kept for 90 days, which covers delivery and archiving on your side. On the Free plan, generated files are kept for 30 days.

No. Every plan, including Free, has unlimited seats. Invite your whole team without paying per person.

Yes. Every plan has full REST API access, including Free. Your credits are the only limit. Free and Starter share standard rate limits; Pro gets higher limits, and custom plans set their own.

Yes. Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel from your billing settings at any time. There are no long-term contracts and no cancellation fees. If you cancel mid-cycle, you keep access through the end of the billing period.

Annual plans are billed once a year and cost about 20% less than paying monthly. Starter is $180/year, which works out to $15/month instead of $19. Pro is $480/year, or $40/month instead of $49. Your monthly credit allowance stays the same either way.

All major credit and debit cards. On a custom plan you can pay by invoice with bank transfer or wire.
